From San Francisco: Day Trip To Monterey and Carmel by the Sea

Overview

Travel the California Pacific Coast Highway 1 to the Monterey Peninsula. Enjoy coastal views, wildlife, and historical sites. Visit Cannery Row, known for John Steinbeck's work, and explore shops and restaurants by the Pacific. Stop by the Monterey Aquarium.

Then, drive along the 17-mile Drive and see the Pebble Beach Golf Course. There are photo stops along the way. The tour continues to Carmel-by-the-Sea. You'll have time to walk through this town, featuring shops and beautiful architecture.

• Union Square Area - Departure at 07:40 from 478 Post Street. You'll find the Encore Cafe situated right next door. For boarding the bus, simply head across the street and our team will meet you at the designated time for the tour departure
• Fisherman's Wharf Area - Departure at 08:00 from 2805 Leavenworth Street. You'll easily spot the Pomegranate Cafe directly across the street. Wait there, and the team will meet you at the designated time for the tour departure
