The Filoli Historic House and Gardens is an oasis of calm located just 30 miles south of San Francisco. Filoli is nestled on a slope of the Santa Cruz Mountains and surrounded by the protected Peninsula watershed – what a place for a day trip.
The estate is set across 654 wonderful acres. Discover the history of the Georgian revival-style mansion, and wander 16 acres of exquisite English Renaissance gardens. There's an orchard, plus a nature reserve with miles of rewarding hiking trails.
